Dr. Randy Case became a C12 Chair in 2007 leaving behind a 20 year career teaching strategic management at the university level.  He retains close relationships at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, where he was a tenured professor in the MBA and PhD programs.  Before coming to Regent in 2000, Randy taught strategy and entrepreneurial management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Boston College.  He began his business career in the 1980s, working in business development and finance and eventually serving as the Chief Financial Officer of IMG Ltd., an information services company based in Switzerland.  He holds a BS from UVA, an MBA from Columbia, and a PhD from Wharton.  In recent years he has completed formal training as an executive coach and has co-authored the book, The Christian on Monday Morning: Essential Readings for Living the Faith at Work

Despite his years in higher education, Randy's most transformational learning experience personally has been in the years since '07 working alongside dozens of small company CEOs in the midst of a tough economic environment.  This experience has stretched him emotionally, spiritually and professionally like no other time in his life.  He has felt many times over both the thrill of winning and the pain of losing, and both have lead him (honestly, the latter more than the former) to daily repentance before the Lord God.  Randy's wife, Shelley, has been God's greatest gift to him in this journey.  Shelley and Randy have two children who bring them great joy as well.  Andrew is a healthcare consultant in Richmond, and Emily is a nursing student in Charlottesville.
